American Construction Services, Inc. of Tampa (ACS) was founded in 1985 by Mr. Carl Aldridge, Jr. as a residential and commercial construction company serving the greater Tampa area.
In 1990, Mr. Robert Glover joined ACS to expand the company beyond the residential and commercial marketplaces into the industrial arena targeting the petrochemical construction industry while expanding the company’s regional coverage.
As of 2021 Carl and Bobby have passed the torch to Carl’s daughter, Carla Boyce as President of the company. Carla has been with ACS since 1990 and handles every aspect of the day to day operations.
Now celebrating more than a quarter century of business success, ACS has evolved into a leading provider of multi-disciplinary construction services specializing in a variety of utility, industrial, in plant and commercial construction projects.

ACS aspires to become a pre-eminent provider of full service construction, professional consulting, and project management services in Florida and the Southeast Region of the United States.
